SCC

As Vice President of Engineering at SCC, I led the development and successful launch of multiple new product lines, including AVoIP solutions, embedded systems based on the ESP32 platform, and a USB audio product family. My work spanned both hardware and software domains, driving innovation and aligning product development with emerging industry trends and customer needs. These efforts expanded the company’s portfolio into modern, cost-effective solutions that addressed growing demands in audio-visual, embedded, and digital signal processing applications.

In addition to new product development, I spearheaded a full-scale modernization of the company’s legacy flagship product line. This involved transitioning from a Windows 10 LTSC-based single-board computer architecture to a Linux-based Raspberry Pi platform—dramatically improving system reliability and maintainability while reducing per-unit hardware costs by 60%. I also led the software overhaul, porting legacy code to Python with a Linux target, enabling faster iteration, better cross-platform support, and long-term sustainability. These efforts helped position SCC for continued success in a competitive and rapidly evolving market.
