Backend

I led engineering teams at a geospatial measurement and software company that creates high-definition maps and software supporting advanced driver assistance, semi-autonomous and autonomous driving applications globally. We also provided highly accurate road data for use in government and transportation-related projects, providing a common infrastructure of high-precision location information.

My Responsibilities

  • Led AWS cloud and software tool development
  • Owned AWS data lake pipeline and ingest software
  • Owned software tool development for geospatial data acquisition
  • Managed map expansion to new regions (Japan, Kuwait, UAE, Oman) in support of General Motors SuperCruise
  • Developed software in support of automotive manufacturers' high-definition mapping solutions for semi-autonomous features
  • Launched multiple initiatives to bolster data integrity
